Today we had a lecture on Thermodynamics in morning and in the afternoon we visited the company, Biogas Ambiental. They produce electricity from methane gas that is generated by decomposing trash from a landfill. It was interesting to learn how they utilize the trash to make sustainable energy for the city of São Paulo.
